This was the Bill Graham's Fillmore East on Second Avenue in the East Village in 1971. We spend many a night there and feasted next door at Ratner's after a late-night concert and the accompanying bout of the hungries.

Here's Inwood Plaza where Broadway, Dyckman Street and Riverside Drive all converge. This picture was taken during the Depression in 1936 when WPA work was being performed on public sites all over the country.

Post Avenue where it meets Dyckman Street. This picture was taken in 1926. Woolworth's was a neighborhood icon for many decades.
