Of all of the 9/11 memorials I have seen in Manhattan, the one that is most meaningful is at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Inwood- still the only Catholic church on Broadway from the battery to the Yonkers border. Conceived by Paulist Father Kevin Devine, an Inwood native who served as a chaplain at Ground Zero, it includes a cross fashioned from WTC girders and a small stone with a picture of each Inwood resident who perished on that fateful day 20 years ago . May it forever remain a tribute to our community and those who went before us !
