Posted by Bob Coleman on Saturday, July 11th 2020:

Good day - I've posted this request for help a couple of times in the past, and I am trying once again.

I'm looking for info/maiden name/last known whereabouts of Alice Coleman. She lived at 561 Academy Street [possibly Apt. 1] with my deceased father Richard [Dick] Coleman starting sometime in the late 1930s. My father left and relocated to Maryland around 1944-1945. Alice Coleman is last listed in the 1967 NYC telephone book.

Anyone know of her? Her maiden name? Did she move somewhere?

Several years ago, an anonymous poster [to another website] stated that Alice was found dead in her apartment, but this person unfortunately refused to elaborate further.

I do know Alice was born in New York around 1898 or so, and according to the 1940 Census, work at a "retail department store."

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Reference ID: MN3332
