I was drafted that nice clear morning on St. Patricks day too. I used the token that the draft board sent me along with 3 others from the Heights. They were:
Peter Harding...Living in Orange County, Tommy Doyle ...RIP and Patty Murtaugh...RIP. I will never forget the box lunch the army gave us for our train ride to South Carolina. Two baloney sandwiches and an apple.What a meal.
