Apartment living vs Private

I am glad that my parents weren't rich and could only afford a tiny three room apartment. In our building we had instant friends......rainy days we were in each other's apt. We sunbathed on the roof....we could walk to the subway and take a train at a very early
age.......we'd go door to door for Halloween.........in Private houses or brownstones you
probably didn't have as many friends........anyway, my vote goes for apartment living
