Back in the late 60s - early 70s when I worked at the medical center, I recall several Washington Heights co-workers of mine telling tales of frivolity about the parade and the celebrations afterward. The event centered around a bar called The Hilltop or The Top of the Hill, and they told me that a good time was had by all. KEEP THE MANHATTAN BOARD ALIVE !
