I located additional info on Fr. Flattery that may interest you. I used BING as my search engine & typed in "Reverend John J. Flattery at St. Judes NYC."
The 2nd entry that popped up was titled "Window into church's past". It tells the story of 2 churches merging into what is now Holy Family. Fr. Flattery was pastor of this church in 1989 & has written 2 books on the subject.
