Who remembers the softball games in the school yard of PS 189? I remember Jr. Lopez who got signed by the Detroit Tigers in 1963 and his older brother Nelson who were in many of the games there. I also remember the "Window Breaker" Rickie Thestrup who used to hit the ball over the left field fence and break windows on the third floor of the building across the street. Great Times.
