DRY DOCK

Posted by Learned Early on Sunday, January 10th 2010:

The Dry Dock Savings (59th & Lex.)used to have a program at OLGC where the kids could open a savings account and add to it each week when the money would be collected in an envelope and forwarded to the bank and recorded.

Great way to learn about saving money early in life.

There must have been other parochial, private and public schools which had similar programs.

Which banks? Which schools?
